Sad but true, increasing fuel costs affects diaper prices too! The cost of fabric is rising, higher electric bills, and fuel surcharges are all adding up. We still offer a meticulously made organic diaper at a competitive price but we had to implement an increase of $2.00 a diaper, effective 7/18/2008. This is never a decision anyone wants to make but our hands are tied. To offset these price increases, we are going to start production of organic velour prefolds next week and possibly some contour diapers as well. That way we can still offer quality organic velour diapering products at a price more mamas can afford!

The Disana knitted tie diaper is ready to ship from Germany! Look for these diapers to be stocked in about 10 business days:) Be sure to check out the Disana knitted contour doubler and the Disana brushed liner as great compliments to the knitted tie diaper.

Today I’ve completed a modest stocking of some of our color variants for the Clover diaper.


Just a little note on upcoming options: at the request of many, we’ll be adding chocolate brown as a color option :) We’ll also be adding peach and maybe a couple of other colors once I’m able to secure the matching thread and snaps. Another big bit of news is that we have production of the small/medium diaper well under way. This size has the same waist as the medium diaper but a shorter rise. This will be a great size for babies in which the medium looks baggy or for those with round tummies.


Remember to follow your care and laundry instructions of the Clover diaper. This will keep your delicate fabric looking great. But keep in mind that if you should ever have the need, we’ll back up our product 100% and complete any needed repair for free.

Wow, we are so very pleased with the sales of our medium diapers! It is our desire to keep the store nicely stocked with diapers in all sizes and all colors. Today we have stocked 47 medium diapers and have more to come as the week goes on.

Due to the holidays and some staff vacations, we’ll be playing catch-up through February but by March we hope to always be ahead of the game. At least we hope:)

This month The Columbus Parent Magazine kindly did a press release for The Clean-n-Green Diaper Service! We are so very appreciative that Columbus Parent has helped spread the word to the local community about the many benefits of cloth diapering. This press release has generated many calls from expectant mothers who are glad to hear that a diaper service has returned to the Central Ohio area.
