Disposable diapers can cost over $1500.00 by the time the child completes potty learning! So now is definitely a good time to consider how cloth diapers are the best choice for your baby's health, for your baby's environment, and for your budget. But certainly there is that initial cost to get you set up to cloth diaper that can be daunting. Well with a little planning, you can spread the cost out over time in a disciplined way through our layaway program. *Here's how it works:* * Browse our selection of diapers, covers, and accessories and the numerous color choices we offer and decide what would be best for your child and your budget. * To help you decide how many diapers you will need, first think about how often you want to wash. Then figure how many diapers you use in a 24 hour period. Newborn babies generally use 12 diapers a day. Calculate how many diapers you need by taking the (number of diapers you use per day) X (2) for daily washing, x (3) for every-other-day washing, x (4) for every-third-day washing. Specifically, this means for a newborn you'll want 24 diapers for daily washing, 36 diapers for every two days, and 48 diapers for every three days. I personally recommend six covers for a newborn with older babies needing fewer. * Complete the "*Layaway Order Form*":http://preciousdignity.myshopify.com/pages/layaway-order to get you on your way. Once we receive your layaway order, we will invoice you for 25% of the total sale. For your convenience, we accept paypal, Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express. If you choose to pay with a credit card, we'll secure that transaction by phone so please be sure to include the best contact number for you. * Subsequent payments are made monthly and you are welcome to spread the remaining 75% of your balance over five months. You are also welcome to complete your payments early at any time. Your diapers will ship as soon as your last payment is complete! * *Be sure you know the fine print.* These are very important details! Consider our layaway program to be a contractual agreement and once you make the initial payment, you are bound by its terms. This should be a positive experience for all parties and we are happy to clarify any concerns you might have before you get started. ** The payments for your layaway program need to be completed within a total of six months. Should you be unable to complete the payments within the six months, there will be a 10% fee added monthly to the remaining balance until it is paid in full. ** Once the initial payment is made, the layaway plan has officially begun. Should you decide to cancel at any time, any money that you have applied to your layaway will be made available to you in the form of a store credit that can be used to get any product we have in stock. *Cash refunds are not an option for layaway cancellations.* ** Changes made to your layaway order _may_ accrue a fee. This will be considered on a case by case basis. If the change is minor, like a small lavender for a small pink, I'll work with you. But major changes will impact our stock and could lead to a fee. Keep in mind that any change could lead to a delay in your shipment if we need to produce new stock to accommodate. ** Paid layaway orders will be shipped as quickly as possible.
